SignatureNet is a web application for managing and verifying authorised signatories in the global financial industry.
An organisation can participate as an Issuing Bank or User Bank.
An Issuing Bank manages its own signatory directory (LAS) on SignatureNet. The Issuing Bank can share its LAS with other participants who have previously been granted access by the Issuing Bank. Each Issuing Bank also acts as a User Bank that can check the LAS of other Issuing Banks.
A User Bank can verify the signatory data of Issuing Banks. However, it does not manage its own authorised signatories on SignatureNet and therefore only has read access to SignatureNet.
Currently, 1300 organisations from all over the world participate in SignatureNet, making SignatureNet well established in the global financial industry.
For security and compliance reasons, it is not possible to test SignatureNet. Access is only possible for registered and verified participants. However, you can register as a User Bank free of charge.

Participation as a User Bank is free of charge. Participation as an Issuing Bank is subject to an annual fee. This is based on the number of authorised signatories that are managed with SignatureNet.
SignatureNet is open to all financial institutions and their business partners, provided they have been approved as participants as part of a specific registration process. The terms "Issuing Bank" and "User Bank" are fixed terms in the SignatureNet environment. Participants that are not banks (e.g. asset managers, insurance companies) are also referred to as such.
No, the introduction of SignatureNet is not an IT project. SignatureNet runs as a web application in common internet browsers such as Edge, Chrome or Firefox. Your account can be set up and managed by employees with average computer skills.
Users need a computer with Internet access, a web browser and an e-mail address.
A detailed product description is available on request.
For management and audit purposes, a variety of reports are available to track every action related to your data in SignatureNet. The reports are available in PDF or Excel format to facilitate the comparison and processing of data.
SignatureNet provides the platform and is not responsible for the legitimacy and legal binding of the signatory data managed by its participants themselves. Responsibility for the accuracy and completeness of the signatory data lies with the Issuing Bank itself. Each Issuing Bank is obliged to keep its signatory data up to date at all times. Compared to the physical administration and dispatch of signatory directories, the use of SignatureNet represents an improvement in terms of accuracy, security and reliability.
The SignatureNet server infrastructure is located in a Swiss data center (server housing). This data center is designed for maximum security (ISO 27001 Business Continuity Management and ISO 22301 Information Security Management) and offers a guaranteed availability of 99.999%. The servers used belong to SignatureNet and are housed in locked cabinets (colocation) that are only accessible to SignatureNet employees. One backup site is located in a different geographical risk area.
